After a week of being cut off from the electronic world it is nice to get back to the familiar things. Wading through a mountain of email, having the pixies argue about what sites to visit, and my Darling Husband (DH) is back to his programming collaboration with the humorous Panos of the Greek Isles, and above all, I am able to write. It might be interesting to know that I still work out the the day’s frustrations on paper. I think in ink, so this means I also work through all my plot notes and descriptions in scribbled text across loose leaf paper or lately in a spiral bound notebook. The week was not a total loss in that regard.
An unusual feeling of disconnectedness was pretty much the norm for us through the week. We still managed but I cannot fathom how I would cope if it was my ongoing lifestyle. Much as I love my home and the the surrounding area, I think we would be forced to move.
This week will be spent working and writing but we are now going to start investigating an “off the grid” survival plan. Hopefully we won’t need to test it anytime soon.
Blessed be,
Ella
